They call me The Music Teacher Guy. Well, OK, that’s the name of my business: The Music Teacher Guy LLC. My name's Matt and I've been a professional music teacher since 2001, and fully self-employed since 2013. My primary instruments are acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, bass guitar, and drums. I’ve been playing and studying those instruments for decades. What I and my employees offer are quality, affordable music lessons in the privacy of your home. We also tackle music theory and songwriting in addition to instrument instruction.
In-home music lessons means no travelling and no traffic. The primary areas we service are Montgomery County, Bucks County, and Delaware County. If you’re in Chester County or Philadelphia, you can give us a call, too. Those are all in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by the way – PA for short. (If you somehow happened upon this page, yet live nowhere near me, we can still do the Skype thing on webcam at www.privatemusiclessons.com. It’s the next best thing to sitting next to a great teacher.)
By the way, let me mention that, unlike many music schools and studios, there is never a contract to sign – seriously, NEVER. Also, the lesson tuition is much less expensive than the national in-home lesson companies. I’ve seen their prices and worked for two of them in the past. They’re VERY expensive and take a BIG cut of the teachers’ pay!
There’s no obligation and no charge if you’re not fully satisfied after the initial lesson. We tailor our approach to the individual needs and wishes of each student. All music teachers SAY that, but we actually MEAN it.
